Blazing Angels: Secret Missions of WWII is a WWII simulation game. This is actually a flight simulator with an Arcade-like approach. The main reason why I am saying that is because the game doesn't put much emphasis on recreating the flying tactics and physics that are needed for a game to be called a flight simulator. Instead, it gives the user the ability to fly an airplane and shoot using 2 or 3 buttons. The game has a great single player campaign; although it is very linear and still uses the mission per mission approach. No two missions are related. The multiplayer part of the game is what is the most fun. However, I couldn't ever find many people online to play this game. I guess they are all playing Gears of War 2. The graphics are the second aspect of this game that is really great. With visual effects to make it look fast-paced, the action is always intense. Firefights are straight-forward and simple; perhaps too simple. The planes that you can fly are mostly WWII fighters, though some are Sci-Fi planes. Still, it is fun to take those for a ride and shoot some bad enemies.
